Devin J. Chwastyk

Devin  Chwastyk co-chairs his firm's Privacy & Data Security group and has advised on cybersecurity matters since 2005, including some of the earliest successful data breach lawsuits in U.S. federal courts. He counsels clients on data security policies, breach response plans, privacy disclosures and compliance with U.S. and international regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Devin holds the Certified Information Privacy Professional, United States (CIPP/US) and Europe (CIPP/E) certifications. He regularly assists businesses with incident response and regulatory reporting. In addition to his privacy work, he maintains an active practice in complex commercial litigation and class action defense.
